June 2010 You may have noticed the addition of new blue benches in the playground.

committee is always trying to think up new ways to enhance the park for the younger members of our community. We’ve also purchased a new tetherball and volleyball net.

Thanks so much to everyone who contributed to the playground
by
participating in the Flea Market. We appreciate all your support and hope
that you will approve of what we have done with the new equipment. There
is still some work to be done there such as leveling and more sand we will
accomplish that asap. Thanks again for your support we could not have
done it without you.

Playground and Children’s
Committee ( August 2008 )
At our August meeting, a children’s committee was approved
by The Board of
Directors. Pat Heath # 276 is the chairman and Jane Garner # 264 is the co-
chairman. They will provide our children with safe and fun activities. The committee
is also looking into getting some new equipment for the playground. Mr. Ken Arnett
started our playground donation fund off at this meeting. A jar has been placed in
the office for anyone who would like to contribute to the playground fund. And as
usual, we are always looking for volunteers to help with the children’s affairs or
donating time for the playground fix-up. There was a large amount of sand donated
by John Dehner, who also delivered and spread it. Mark Testerman has also
volunteered his services and equipment when needed to help. The existing
playground equipment will be spruced up and repairs made where necessary. This
will be done during cooler weather. Please send your Donation to:
